USB storage drive that generates OTP PDF E-mail

Learn how the combination of Trek Thumbdrive AES and DS3 Authentication technologies can be deployed with Remote Access VPNs (Virtual Private Network) to enable the employees to work securely while outside the office.

Ensuring Strong Authentication for Remote Access

The Thumbdrive AES is pre-loaded with DSSS OATH OTP token. This allows the owner of the Thumbdrive to generate a One-Time-Password (OTP) as part of the authentication process to securely authenticate with the VPN. The combination of Two-Factor Authentication of “something you know” (which is the AD password) and “something you have” (which is the OTP generated by the Thumbdrive) is verified by the DS3 Authentication Security Module (ASM) Server connected to the VPN in the backend.

Preventing Accidental Data Leakage

Any data carried out of the office can be securely stored in the Thumbdrive AES. The data is password protected, and AES encrypted within the Thumbdrive, ensuring that if the Thumbdrive is accidentally misplaced or stolen, the data remain securely protected from prying eyes.

Achieving Convenience & Security for Employee Remote Access

Two of the biggest security problems in enabling Employee Remote Access are addressed in one convenient solution by combining the Thumbdrive with DSSS Authentication technologies.
