Partnering one of our technology partners, Foresight Technologies Pte Ltd, Data Security Systems Solutions (DS3) has successfully deployed Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) solution for a well-established oil and gas company based in Pakistan, using Microsoft SharePoint.

This deployment was done by implementing DS3 Authentication Server (AS) as part of their IT environment, resulting in a secured 2FA environment, ensuring the identity of all users accessing to their Microsoft SharePoint website.

This cost effective and reliable authentication solution is widely used by Enterprises of various industries to control remote access to their corporate networks.

How Does DS3 Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) work in the integration?

The DS3 Authentication Server will be integrated as part of a JSP HTTP service page (using DS3 RADIUS API for authentication), this page will serve as a proxy between Microsoft SharePoint website and DS3 AS. A server side script will be embedded into the Microsoft SharePoint website, which will help to redirect user after 1st-Factor Authentication to another ASP.net page for 2nd-Factor Authentication. User will only successfully log into Microsoft SharePoint website after they have successfully validate the 2nd-Factor One-Time Password (OTP).
