Data Security Systems Solutions (DS3) Joins the Cloud Business Alliance

Data Security Systems Solutions (DS3) is now a member of the Cloud Business Alliance (CBA), Japan. As a member of the CBA, DS3 hopes to contribute towards the development of interoperable open cloud services and technologies that will be beneficial to the Japanese cloud industry.

DS3 has a proud tradition of providing products and solutions that are interoperable and compliant to open standards. Our flagship product, the Authentication Server can be used with a wide variety of hardware and software tokens, providing organizations with the flexibility and freedom in their deployment scenarios. This translates to a lower total cost of ownership in terms of maintenance, and the ability to future-proof IT investments.

The DS3 Cloud Authentication Server is an authentication appliance in the Amazon cloud. It features most of the business rules and functionality found on the physical server, yet comes with the deployment and usage flexibility of cloud services.

The Cloud Business Alliance was founded in October 2009 with the objective of supporting the creation of an open cloud services market in Japan. It aims to expand the open cloud business in Japan and the creation of value in cloud computing for users and service providers. It promotes and establishes and standards of inter-connectivity and develops business opportunities for cloud services in Japan.
